Diversity and Inclusion Executive Committee
The Diversity and Inclusion Executive Committee assists the Office of Academic Diversity and Inclusion on the design, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that will embed a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the college’s curriculum, programming, and academic personnel in accordance with our academic diversity and inclusion mission. The roles and responsibilities of the Diversity and Inclusion Executive Committee include:
- Participate on Diversity and Inclusion Designated Curriculum committee
- Assist in developing and leading faculty development and curriculum workshops
- Participate on College search committees
- Jury for the Diversity and Inclusion Programming Grant
Membership on the Diversity and Inclusion Executive Committee is a two-year commitment with an option to self-nominate after a one-year hiatus from the committee. The Diversity and Inclusion Executive Committee convenes monthly and has representatives from full and part-time faculty, staff, and administration.
