Sabbatical Leave Award

The Sabbatical Policy is located in the Faculty Manual under 500 Faculty-Related Policies and Responsibilities, subsection 530 Sabbatical Leave.

Application Requirements

A sabbatical application requires the submission of:

• A proposal of no more than 2500 words.
• A current curriculum vitae.
• Relevant supporting materials when mentioned in the proposal (e.g. book contracts, letters of invitation, grant notification, etc.).

The Academic Personnel Sharepoint site offers additional information regarding the timeline and rubric used by the chairs, deans, and sabbatical leave committee members to rate the sabbatical leave applications.
