Faculty Development Sessions
Each academic year the Office of the Provost hosts virtual Faculty Development Days in August, January, and May.
Faculty Development Sessions are collaborative, transdisciplinary, and facilitated by colleagues and outside institutions who provide a space for thinking through ideas, changes, challenges, and concerns regarding teaching in higher education in a 21st-century context. Staff in Student Affairs, Academic Technology, and the Library also offer a range of sessions to support faculty teaching and learning across all modes. Faculty are notified about all faculty development sessions through email announcements from the Office of the Provost. All Columbia College Chicago faculty (full- and part-time) and staff who may find these sessions valuable to their role at the college are welcome to attend.
