Information Technology at Columbia College Chicago provides faculty, staff, and students with a variety of tools and technology applications that enable the campus community to engage in collaboration with the community. Dolores Marek

Director, Academic Technology

The director of Academic Technology is responsible for providing leadership and management of Columbia's academic and instructional technology initiatives. The director supervises the IT instructional design team, IT media services, library technology, and event management.

 

Ed Medina

Senior Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations

Managing senior director of infrastructure campuswide that includes: storage, server, network (wired and wireless), desktop and computer equipment and support, Technology Support, telecommunications, and email operations.

Kevin Wyderka

Director, Reporting and Analytics

Managing director of Analytics and Reporting who oversees data stewardship, data warehousing, reporting and analytics for administrative areas of the college.

 

Chris Adamescu

Director, Cyber and Information Security

The Director of Cyber and Information Security is responsible for overseeing the state of the college’s overall technology and information security.  They ensure that the college adheres to specific security and compliance standards, as well as contribute to the overall strategy by outlining best practices, identifying ways to strengthen security based on the latest threats, and implementing new systems and services that aid in the college’s overall security posture.

Jeff Meyers

Director, Academic Curiculum Innovation

Director of Academic Curriculum Innovation, provides oversight and technical innovation for the design, implementation, and operational handoff for curricular initiatives across Columbia College Chicago. They maintain a relationship and help design technology initiatives to meet curricular needs.

Eric Albert

Director, Enterprise Applications and Systems

The Director of Enterprise Applications and Systems is responsible for providing leadership and the management of key Columbia College Chicago systems. This is inclusive of the Student Information System, ERP Finance, Human Capital Management, and Service Management, as well as ancillary applications and their integrations.
