Rob Green is vice provost for Digital Learning at Columbia College Chicago. In this role, Green oversees Columbia College Chicago Online—the college’s online platform for continuing education students—and the Digital Learning department, which includes the strategy, staffing, systems implementation, and product development for Columbia Online. Having championed the implementation of state of the art online continuing education products, Green is interested in dynamically changing the way students learn and consume information. His particular focus is turning artistically-inclined students into savvy entrepreneurs, forging the fusion of tech and business into a highly customizable multimedia arts curriculum.
Green is the former COO/CFO of the award-winning Berklee Online, the Continuing Education division for the Berklee College of Music, and is currently shaping Columbia’s online arts, media and communications courses and programs that allow students to learn key business and creative skills from anywhere in the world. Additionally, Green has 20 years of experience in technology-based business. Green also acts as a board advisor to the marketing firms Converge and DayChamp.
Green received a BS in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance and Management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
